Would someone please tell me
How I am supposed to explain to my child someday that when she was 2 months old, we elected a president who sees her as an object because of her gender, and believes her to be sub human because of part of her racial heritage?
I heart you Steve-o. This has been a year of pure political YUCK. I keep telling myself, worst case scenario is that now-14-month-old will only be 4, or worst case scenario 8, before this grossness leaves office. She'll barely remember. There will likely have been harm done to the whole country but at least we can be on our way to a good rebuild by the time she hits high school.
